Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 7 and 14
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph on Saturday.
* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front, and
Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
required for some vehicles. Blowing snow may significantly reduce
visibility, especially on Saturday. Those in the backcountry
should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
