Description:
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 3 and 6 inches in the Upper Blackfoot Valley and Lincoln
area with 6 to 12 inches over Flesher pass and Macdonald Pass.
Winds gusting as high as 65 mph may create significant visibility
reductions in blowing snow Thursday.
* WHERE...Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
required for some vehicles.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
Remember, a Winter Storm Warning means that there is at least an 80%
chance of impactful winter weather conditions during the warning
period.
