Description:
At 703 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles northeast of Rock Island, or 20 miles east of Wenatchee, moving
northwest at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Alstown.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight PDT for
north central Washington.
