Description:
At 506 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Colfax, or 19 miles northwest of Pullman. This storm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Diamond.
This includes U.S. Highway 195 in Washington near mile marker 47.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding of poor drainage areas. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways..
