...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM PDT Wednesday the stage was 20.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM PDT Wednesday was 21.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will see a rise Wednesday night into Thursday and peak around 22.1 feet by Friday evening. The river is forecast to fall over the weekend back to around 21.0 feet by Monday. An additional rise is forecast around the middle of next week. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
