Description:
At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Petersburg to near Radium. Movement was
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Petersburg, Emporia, Jarratt, Stony Creek, and Carson around 650
PM EDT.
Green Plain around 655 PM EDT.
Disputanta and Sussex around 705 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Grizzard, Dolphin,
Booker, Yale, Pleasant Shade, Lumberton, Wharfs Store, Hilda, Richard
Bland College, and Gwaltney Corner.
