At 121 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles southeast of Woodland Hills, or 17 miles southeast of Payson, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Spanish Fork, Mapleton, Salem, Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills, and Birdseye. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 near mile marker 252. US Route 6 between mile markers 176 and 192. US Route 89 between mile markers 303 and 312.
