Description: 
At 1036 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Scipio, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Nephi, Moroni, Scipio, Wales, Fayette, Fountain Green, Levan, and Yuba Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 189 and 196, and between mile markers 200 and 229. US Route 50 between mile markers 130 and 131.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
