* WHAT...For the first Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as
low as 30 in eastern Box Elder County and 25 in the Sanpete
Valley. For the second Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures
as low as 30 expected in eastern Box Elder County and in the upper
20s to near 30 in the Sanpete Valley.
* WHERE...Sanpete Valley and Eastern Box Elder County.
* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, until 9 AM MDT Friday. For
the second Freeze Warning, from 10 PM Friday to 9 AM MDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Drain in-ground sprinkler systems and cover above ground pipes.
