Description:
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s
expected, except temperatures as low as the mid 20s in the Sanpete
Valley and portions of southwest Utah.
* WHERE...Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sanpete Valley, Sevier
Valley, Western Millard and Juab Counties, Western Uinta Basin,
and Southwest Utah.
* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 10
AM MDT Thursday. For the second Freeze Warning, from 10 PM
Thursday to 9 AM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Drain in-ground sprinkler systems and cover above ground pipes.
