At 609 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located near Latham, or 11 miles southwest of Clinton, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. These dangerous storms will be near... Maroa around 615 PM CDT. Argenta around 625 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Lane and Weldon Springs State Park. This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 147 and 156.
