Description:
At 825 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles north of Big Bend Ranch State Park, moving
northeast at 20 mph. Strong downburst wind gusts have been observed
with some of these storms.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Presidio, Marfa, Candelaria, Big Bend Ranch State Park, Bloys Camp,
Adobes, Chinati Mountains, Marfa Municipal Airport, Shafter, Ruidosa,
Redford, Presidio Lely International Airport, Paisano Pass, and Casa
Piedra.
