Description:
At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Marfa, moving northeast at 30 mph. Thunderstorms
in this area have a history of producing strong downburst winds.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Alpine, Alpine-Casparis Municipal Airport, and Paisano Pass.
