Description:
At 1017 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Channing, or 27 miles south of Dalhart, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Dumas, Dalhart, Stratford, Hartley, Cactus, Fritch, Sunray, Gruver,
Channing, Adrian, Sanford, Valley De Oro, Boys Ranch, Morse, Ware,
Four Way, Conlen, Masterson, Lake Meredith, and Texhoma.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 17 and 35.
