Description:
At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Springtown to near Stephenville. Movement was
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Weatherford, Briar, Reno, Springtown, Hudson Oaks, Western Lake,
Bluff Dale, and Lake Weatherford around 430 PM CDT.
Azle and Willow Park around 435 PM CDT.
Eagle Mountain, Pecan Acres, Pelican Bay, Annetta, and Oak Trail
Shores around 440 PM CDT.
Fort Worth, Granbury, Aledo, and Haslet around 450 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Adell, Santo,
Dennis, Lingleville, Agnes, Bennett, New Salem, Garner, Tin Top, and
Hannibal.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 20 between mile markers 372 and 421.
Interstate 30 near mile marker 1.
Instruction:
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
