At 350 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles southwest of Rising Star, or 8 miles southeast of Cross Plains, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Eastland, Cisco, Rising Star, Pleasant Hill, Nimrod, Sabanno, Pioneer, Scranton, and I-20 Near The Callahan-Eastland County Line. This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 323 and 340.
