Description:
At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Point, or 14 miles northeast of Wills Point, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
West Tawakoni, Edgewood, Quinlan, Emory, East Tawakoni, Point,
Fruitvale, Lake Tawakoni, Lake Tawakoni State Park, Lone Oak, Alsa,
Flats, and Hermits Cove.
