At 638 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Tye, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Abilene, Tye, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Potosi, View, Caps, Hamby, Dyess
Afb, Impact, and Kirby Lake.
This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 271 and 292.
