At 1009 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Starbase, or 7 miles south of South Padre Island, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... South Padre Island, Southmost, Port Of Brownsville, Brownsville, Lincoln Park, U.s. Coast Guard Station, Villa Pancho, Port Isabel Lighthouse, Port Isabel Fire And Police Department, and Laguna Vista Police Department.
