Description: 
At 645 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 14 miles northeast of San Rafael Ranch Airport, or 15 miles northeast of Agua Nueva, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Falfurrias, Hebbronville, Gruy Stadium, La Colonia Park, Airport Road Addition, South Fork Estates, Falfurrias Junior High School, Las Lomitas, Pleasant Park, and El Coyote Ranch Airport. This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 708 and 728.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for Deep South Texas.
