Description:
At 136 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Navasota to 11 miles southwest of Bedias to 8
miles north of Kurten. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
College Station, Bryan, Navasota, Willis, Madisonville, Washington,
Panorama Village, Montgomery, Snook, Bedias, Kurten, Wixon Valley,
Millican, Anderson, Kyle Field, Bryan Utilities Lake, Normangee,
Iola, North Zulch, and Roans Prairie.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
