Description: 
At 814 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Liberty Hill to near Bandera. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels, Cedar Park, Georgetown, San Marcos, Pflugerville, Medina, Schertz, Kyle, Cibolo, Kerrville, Converse, Universal City, Taylor, Live Oak, Buda, Boerne, and Selma.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for south central Texas.
