Description: 
At 747 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Balmorhea State Park, or 23 miles north of Fort Davis, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pecos, Toyah, Balmorhea, Balmorhea Lake, Saragosa, Balmorhea State Park, Verhalen, Toyah Lake, Star Mountain, Toyahvale, and Pecos Municipal Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 between mile markers 195 and 225. Interstate 20 between mile markers 13 and 35, and between mile markers 40 and 42.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
