Description: 
At 626 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles north of Lometa to near Buchanan Dam to near Prairie Mountain to 7 miles southeast of Us-83 Near The Kerr- Kimble County Line. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Saba, Cherokee, Castell, Art, Pontotoc, Loyal Valley, Chappel, Hedwigs Hill, Hilda, Colorado Bend State Park, Harkeyville, Us- 87 Near The Mason-Gillespie County Line, The Intersection Of I- 10 And Us 290, and I-10 Near The Kimble-Kerr County Line. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 471 and 477.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central Texas.
