Description: 
At 408 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Grosvenor to near Brady Lake to near Roosevelt to near Us-277 Near The Sutton- Edwards County Line. Movement was east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Brownwood, Brady, Coleman, San Saba, Early, Junction, Mason, Menard, Santa Anna, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Eden, Bangs, Blanket, Melvin, Castell, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Loyal Valley, and Sloan. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 407 and 477.
Instruction: 
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central Texas.
