Description: 
At 317 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near The Intersection Of Ranch Road 1929 And Ranch Road 2134 to 9 miles southwest of Fort Mckavett to 6 miles east of Juno. Movement was east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Brownwood, Brady, Sonora, Early, Eldorado, Menard, Santa Anna, Paint Rock, Eden, Bangs, Melvin, Brookesmith, Waldrip, Eola, Roosevelt, Lake Brownwood, Winchell, Camp San Saba, Rochelle, and Mereta. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 383 and 448.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central Texas.
