Description: 
At 1246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Vancourt, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Angelo, Wall, San Angelo State Park, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Mereta, Veribest, Vancourt, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy, Eola, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 380 And Ranch Road 381, Vick, and Harriet.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
