Description: 
At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Purtis Creek State Park, or 10 miles east of Gun Barrel City, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Eustace and Purtis Creek State Park around 425 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Prairieville, Phalba, Murchison, Roddy, Martins Mill, Walton, Payne Springs, and Log Cabin.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
