Description: 
At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles south of Mackenzie Reservoir to 4 miles southwest of Claytonville to 3 miles southwest of Hale Center. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Plainview, Hale Center, Silverton, Kress, Halfway, Claytonville, Mackenzie Reservoir, Aiken, Seth Ward, and Edmonson.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for the Panhandle of and northwestern Texas.
