Description:
At 934 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rachal, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Falfurrias, Encino, Rachal, La Colonia Park, Airport Road Addition,
Falfurrias Junior High School, Pleasant Park, El Coyote Ranch
Airport, Falfurrias Fire Station, and Cantu Addition.
This includes the following highways...
US Highway 77 between mile markers 716 and 722.
US Highway 281 between mile markers 710 and 742.
