At 646 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Dayton Lakes to near Anahuac to near San Leon. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Eastern Pasadena, Baytown, Texas City, La Porte, northeastern Seabrook, Liberty, Dayton, Beach City, Highlands, Barrett, Channelview, Kingwood, Crosby, Mont Belvieu, Anahuac, Roman Forest, Shoreacres, Old River-Winfree, Ames, and Daisetta.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
