At 514 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Town West, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Northwestern Pasadena, Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, northern Friendswood, Rosenberg, Stafford, South Houston, Bellaire, West University Place, Katy, Richmond, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Jersey Village, Manvel, Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, and Downtown Houston.
