Description: 
At 1142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Falcon State Park, or near Lopeno, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Zapata, Lopeno, New Falcon, Zapata High School, Zapata County Fire Department, Zapata Middle School, Siesta Shores, Zapata County Public Library, Falcon Mesa, and Morales-Sanchez. This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 766 and 790.
