Description: 
At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of Possum Kingdom Lake to 9 miles southeast of Palo Pinto Mountains State Park to 10 miles northeast of May. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Gordon, Palo Pinto, and Lake Palo Pinto around 1135 PM CDT. Huckabay around 1145 PM CDT. Mineral Wells around 1150 PM CDT. Morgan Mill around 1200 AM CDT. Cool around 1210 AM CDT. Lipan around 1215 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Brock Junction, Kokomo, Santo, Patillo, Clairette, Dennis, Staff, Carbon, Tolar, and Mingus. This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 355 and 405.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
