Description:
At 940 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Alanreed to Memphis. Movement was northeast at
30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mclean, Hedley, Lelia Lake, Quail, and Alanreed.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 130 and 148.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
