At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405, or 17 miles east of Sheffield, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ozona, The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163, Ft Lancaster, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405, and The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 340 and 378.
