Description: 
At 1156 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Liverpool to 8 miles east of Boling-Iago to 7 miles south of Eagle Lake. Movement was southwest at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Southern League City, Texas City, Matagorda, southwestern Friendswood, western Rosenberg, Lake Jackson, Alvin, Angleton, Dickinson, Bay City, La Marque, Santa Fe, Freeport, El Campo, Clute, Wharton, Hitchcock, Edna, southern Manvel, and Palacios.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
