Description: 
At 1021 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Mountain Home to 10 miles southwest of Hunt to 6 miles southwest of Vanderpool. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Medina, Kerrville, Bandera, Vanderpool, Tarpley, Ingram, Hunt, Camp Verde, Kerrville-Schreiner Park, Kerr Wildlife Management Area, Waltonia, Mountain Home, Center Point, Hill Country State Natural Area, and Lost Maples State Natural Area.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central Texas.
