Description: 
At 652 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lake Victor to Bartlett. Movement was northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Lampasas, Salado, and Holland around 700 PM CDT. Stillhouse Hollow Lake around 715 PM CDT. Killeen and Kempner around 720 PM CDT. Copperas Cove around 725 PM CDT. Harker Heights, Belton, and Little River-Academy around 730 PM CDT.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for central Texas.
