Description: 
At 944 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Canyon Lake Dam to near Boerne to near D'Hanis to 12 miles north of Cometa. Movement was south at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Converse, Universal City, Uvalde, Live Oak, Boerne, Selma, Pearsall, Hondo, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Devine, Castroville, Comfort, Bandera, La Pryor, and Tarpley.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south central Texas.
