Description:
At 310 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mount Selman, or 7 miles north of Jacksonville, moving southeast at
10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Bullard, Troup, Mixon, Mount Selman, New
Summerfield and Concord.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
