At 244 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Mirando City, or 22 miles northwest of Hebbronville, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Laredo, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Ranchitos Las Lomas, Mirando City, St Augustine High School South Laredo, Laredo Community College, Bruni, Oilton, United South High School, Aguilares, and Laredo International Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 near mile marker 1. US Highway 59 between mile markers 778 and 824. US Highway 83 between mile markers 718 and 734.
