Description:
At 814 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Voss, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brownwood, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket, Gouldbusk,
Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Burkett, May, Cross Cut, Zephyr,
Brookesmith, Rockwood, Voss, Lake Brownwood State Park, Leaday, Lake
Brownwood, Winchell, and Byrds.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
