At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hamby, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Abilene, Albany, Hawley, Moran, Nugent, Ibex, Hamby, Impact, Mccarty Lake, Lake Fort Phantom Hill, and Us-283 Near The Callahan- Shackelford County Line. This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 283 and 296.
