South Central Smith County in northeastern Texas...
* Until 330 PM CDT.
* At 241 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Reese, or 10
miles west of Jacksonville, moving southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Bullard, Reese, Mount Selman, Cuney and Teaselville.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
