Description:
At 111 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Alice, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Kingsville, Alice, San Diego, Driscoll, Bishop, Orange Grove, San
Patricio, Alfred-South La Paloma, Bluntzer, Banquete, San Jose,
Westdale, Ben Bolt, Sandia, Palito Blanco, Tecalote, Alice Acres,
Alfred, Kingsville Naval Air Station, and Agua Dulce.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 37 between mile markers 29 and 33.
US Highway 281 between mile markers 658 and 692.
US Highway 77 between mile markers 678 and 694.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
