East central Refugio County in south central Texas... * Until 445 AM CDT. * At 403 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, or 9 miles south of Seadrift, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Port Lavaca, Seadrift, Port Oconnor, Point Comfort, Alamo Beach, Indianola, Magnolia Beach, Schicke Point, Long Mott, Olivia, Port Alto, Matagorda Island State Park, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, and Austwell. This includes US Highway 87 between mile markers 836 and 840.
