Description:
At 621 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of
Southland, or 8 miles south of Slaton, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees. Near zero visbility will be
possible along any outflow boundary or stronger wind gust
that occurs.
Locations impacted include...
Slaton, Tahoka, Southland, Slide, Woodrow, Wilson, and New Home.
