Description:
At 649 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
Sweetwater, or 18 miles northeast of Shamrock, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters observed golf ball sized hail east
of Wheeler on Highway 152.
IMPACT...Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible.
People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Wheeler County.
