East central Cameron County in Deep South Texas... * Until 1130 AM CDT. * At 1038 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Palmer Laasko Elementary, or over Laureles, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Los Fresnos, South Padre Island, Laureles, Brownsville, U.s. Coast Guard Station, Port Isabel Lighthouse, Palmer Laasko Elementary, Beach Access Four, Port Isabel Fire And Police Department, and Laguna Vista Police Department.
